The topic I came to talk about today is about pollution. Pollution is one of the biggest issues in America. The ways to stop pollution is to just stop throwing our thrash any where we want. We only have to just throw it into a garbage bin. The pollution has consequences on everybody. The pollution harms babies who are in their mothers womb and are protected by their placenta which keeps out toxin. What I came to talk about to all of you is Global warming. Scientists say that Global warming happens because of how pollution goes into the air and causes unnatural rain to fall down. This leads to many problems around the world. Global warming is something of a threat that happens to affect us and mother nature. I have learned that whenever we use energy in our homes we make more carbon dioxide go into the air which causes global warming to occur ore often. There are many causes why Global warming keeps occurring around the world. Global warming is trying to kill us by making the Earth not behave itself. One of the ways are that we can change our regular light bulb into florescent light bulbs which saves us more energy. This explains how the Earths temperature keeps rising from Global warming and how the ice in the North pole keeps shrinking down to size. This causes more problems too by making the polar bears and other arctic animals to disappear. The best way to stop this threat is just to save energy and to stop the pollution. less energy, save more money. I think we should care more about planet Earth because thanks to her we can live here and do what we want.      

Social Awareness Entry#2

When I was watching the television yesterday, I realized that there are many things we don't know about whats happening around us and we should at least think about it. What I'm talking about is are the problems around us. We should clean our mess. I'm taking about pollution. The news talk about how the country keeps polluting even when some of the people clean up after them. We think we don't do this but we do. When I was coming home and threw out my thrash, I saw it go in the garbage bin. However, a little while later the wind picked up it later and threw it into the streets. I was sad to see that happening but we know that at least we tried to help the environment around us. No matter what we do to help the environment around us there will always be a problem and we should at least try to help the environment in any way we can. What I realized to day that it is we should just help no matter how big or small the task and should just at least just help around us. We should just realize that the things we do to help the environment don't have to be a big help. But we can say at least that we helped too.  The people around us wants to help but they think they can't because they don't want to be ashamed of our small their role is in the world. But I think that no matter what you do to help and no matter how big or small the role is, the thought counts only.
