Childhood Memories

When you look at your baby picture, you start to remember your childhood memories. When this happens you start to wonder if you really know who you are. The time you were a baby, you had nothing to do except eating, using the bathroom, and sleep. Then all of a sudden, you have to go to school to learn and learn how to speak. When you get older, you have to bear responsibilities. When this time comes you feel weird doing all all this stuff. When you grow older, you have to worry about doing homework and projects. Then when you are done with this stuff, you have to other activities to make your parents happy. Then later you go onto college and you have extra courses to do to improve your credit. Then you have to go to another school to get knowledge on the job you are going to take. Then when you get your diploma, you get to work and earn money. Then when you know you got your job, you get married. Then you have to give your in-laws something for then giving them their child. Then after a few months, you have kids. They go through the same process as you. Then you have grand kids and then after some years you die. This is what happens when you are born. Fate decides everything and you too!  

Revised Reading Response: Cirque Du Freak By Darren Shan

 The Cirque Du freak series by Darren Shan teaches an important lesson about friendship. There are many people throughout the world that friends and can do anything for friendship no matter the misunderstandings or consequences. Darren Shan the main Character helped his Best Friend Steve when he was about to die. Darren Shan risked his life to get Steve better.
 One inference I made is that Darren never used to be a half blood vampire but human. But when is best friend Steve got bit by a poisonous spider which nobody had the cure to except Mr.Creepsly the vampire. But then Dareen sacrificed his humanity and his family to become a vampire in order to get the cure to save Steve from dying. Darren only did this to save his friend and didn't want to create any misunderstandings. But Steve misunderstood him. This showed that Darren was a good friend to Steve.
 The second inference I made was that when Steve turned into a bad vampire that tried to kill Darren but couldn't because of the difference in their powers. . Steve gave into and got the bad powers so he can get revenge for Darren taking the powers. When Darren had the chance to kill Steve.This Shows that Darren still considered Steve to be his friend and didn't take his life because of it.
 Many people can relate to this lesson because there are many people who did many things for their friends.
The lesson shows that true friends will help friends in any matter no matter the consequence. This relates to Darren Shan because he helped his friend until the end where he dies. Darren Shan was a true friend to his best friend Steve no matter the consequences.

Spring happens very often
This is when rains comes
People are playing outside
Some are enjoying the fresh air
This is when the sun comes to stay longer
The flowers are still blossoming from the rain
When the rain stops
The flowers have bloomed

Response to my Papa's waltz

In my Papa's waltz, it talks about a boy getting beat up by his dad. The poem talks about his dads knuckles being battered up and missing a buckle. The poem could be talking about the dad being drunk. The poem has many points of views of seeing the poem from which side. The poem could also talk about something else that we don't know about.

What the poem could be talking about is that the dad could be waltzing with his son or just beating him up like i said in the first paragraph. There are many people who debated in our class about the dad beating up the kid and being drunk or the dad is waltzing with his son. There are many ways  to prove which one is true.

 The independent book I was reading was called the Cirque De Freak series by Darren Shan. The story is about a kid whose name is also the authors name Darren Shan and his best friend Steve. There they meet many people with great abilities. But when Steve suspects that one of the performers as a vampire he asks to become a half blood vampire. But gets rejected to become one and then the main character gets forced in order to save his friend Steve who hates him for becoming a vampire. Then later he has to leave home with everyone believing he is dead. I wanted to include this book in this essay because it shows that Darren still saved his friend even after when his friend hated him.
